Great pizza and delicious ice cream! Perfect place to order food from when visiting the Denver Ballpark or passing thru town! Great ownership cares about the community! Highly recommend!
I'm not sure, but I think 2 of the reviews are not for this restaurant! Deangelo's in Denver, IN doesn't have a salad bar, just a pickup window and outdoor seating. Also, the breadsticks are packaged without butter so your fingers are never greasy. The restaurant sends the garlic butter on the side. The breadsticks are authentic pizza dough chewy without being tough. Anytime I have gotten food from Deangelo's, it's been fantastic.
I was pretty shocked by some of the poor reviews. I drive quite the distance to get this pizza it is by far the best around! I don't leave many reviews but I don't want this place going anywhere so I am showing them some love!
DeAngelo's pizza is excellent! It has a soft thick crust. Delicious sauce. I'd say it most closely resembles Papa John's, but it's better than any chain pizza I've had. One of the better places I've ever tried. The pizza is reasonably priced and comes with a little cup of garlic sauce. The Bosco sticks are good, too. You receive five large bread sticks which are stuffed with mozzarella and a good-sized cup of pizza sauce for dipping. They also offer salads, but I decided not to get one after I asked about them. The only improvement I can think of is that it'd be nice if they had a menu and prices posted online, but we called in orders for pickup twice this week. In any case, two large pizzas and an order of Bosco sticks was just over $30. The large pizzas have twelve slices. I believe they also offer an extra large 22 inch. I didn't see the place in person, but am told it is a walk-up counter with lots of outdoor seating. If you're ever out in the Denver, IN area near Peru, give them a try!
